I am so proud to be able to sit here at 4am drafting a blog announcing that we are adding Noosa made furniture and homewares to our range. It has been quite the journey to get to this moment, to be able to say; our Made in Noosa Furniture & Homewares is launching at Life Instyle Melbourne this August from the 2nd to the 5th at Stand 2000 and online.
The Journey Here
Over the last few months I have been able to meet with the some seriously talented furniture makers.
After lots of chats and strategising we all decided we’d much rather work together than the alternative. So here we are, after months of designing and sampling we are launching a furniture and homewares range.
With decades of combined experience in product design, interior design, styling and business management we know have one powerful team.
Made in Noosa Furniture and Homewares
Our original designs and classics are stylish, super functional and built to last a lifetime. They make a statement on their own but also fit alongside many designer trends.
Some of what we will be launching include:
- Custom furniture
- Wall hangings
- Hat Stands
- Coat racks
- Unique shelving
- Framed limited edition prints by Noosa artists
- Framed mirrors
- and more...
Part of the reason we did a rebrand was to open up the possibility of providing new product ranges, like our made in Noosa furniture and homewares. The other part was to be able to pin point our values. Our primary “why” is the wild. Natural, uninhabited parts of the world were wildlife roams free. These are the spaces we want to help protect.
We do this, as always, through our tree planting project. We will be planting 10 trees for each piece of homeware and furniture sold. Making these larger pieces from recycled materials is not easy so we will be using locally grown timber from sustainable and certified plantations. We will also have the odd piece from recycled timber furniture or homewares when we can.
Most exciting is our goal to buy up land to set up sustainability retreated to fund the rehabilitation of the land and create nature corridors. We are currently looking at land in the Amazon. More on that soon!
